"Dan Sonenberg," as he's known in rock circles, has been making rock music since not too many years after he was born. He bought his first 4-track recorder, a Fostex X-15, at the age of 14. A few years later, he pooled the money he earned delivering Chinese food for Szechuan Cuisine in Great Neck, NY, and bought a Tascam 38 reel to reel tape recorder. Then... art music arrived in his life.
But in the last four years he has been very busy returning to the world of rock recording, mostly using a digital recording studio he's developed at the University of Southern Maine. Since 2013, he has released three collections of songs, two with his band Lovers of Fiction, and one a solo effort.
